Gamut + Poise-Behind the Name

Welcome to Gamut + Poise! I'm so excited to go on this journey with you all! I've always enjoyed writing and I may or may not have started a couple of blogs before. ;) This time around I wanted to be more intentional with my writing, but I also wanted it to be an outlet for many other things in my life!

Gamut- There are plenty of blogs out there about what being a mama looks like, but I wanted to share my journey and I wanted to open the window of transparency. I wanted people to get a full scope of motherhood, whether you're in it or not, thinking of starting a family or just intrigued by it all. There are beautiful moments and there are moments I sit on the floor crying. I wanted to show the ins and outs because there are some women who look at social media outlets and compare too much, myself included in that last comment. I desire for this blog to be a safe place of struggle, happiness, advice, and plain ole' good fun. I want women to know they aren't alone on this journey. Praise God for the villages that help raise our children, that includes people we seek advice from and some we may never meet. The inter webs are a wonderful place. So here I am getting out of my comfort zone and sharing my story!

Poise- As tough as it all is, I am trying to seek balance in this life. I want to share my stories of my journey in motherhood, while trying my best to not lose sight of myself and passions. My heart desires to travel and our babes deserve to see it as much as we do. There is so much beauty on this earth, so why not get out there and enjoy it?

I hope on this journey I learn to enjoy the little moments my humans bring to light and I hope you enjoy seeing life through my eyes.
