Day Eight gift guide: Milovala

Today is my last day of my gift guide and I hope you all have enjoyed it! I'll be highlighting Milovala, a minimalist jewelry line for women. She recently rebranded her company to Milovala and I love the name! It is Czech for "dearly loved" and the owner is part Czech and it plays a part in her story, so it was such a fitting name!

I've had my earrings from her for a little over a year now and they are the perfect fit for me. They are my go-to earrings and I tend to wear them most days, well days that I'm not wearing yoga pants. ;) Here are Al's answers to my questions behind her process in creating great pieces.

What inspired you to start Milovala?

I started Milovala 5 years ago because I wanted simple/classic accessories that would be ideal for me or any woman. I wanted my pieces to be accessible to ladies that were needing accessories for every day.

What’s your favorite piece and why?

My favorite piece is the “matilde”. I love the simple elegance of this piece. It’s the perfect length & works great for a dressy or casual piece.

Who did you have in mind while creating your product/service?

As I create all of my pieces I think of what would work for fashionable, fun, creative & classy women. I want my pieces to work for the mommy with little ones needing her all day & I also want them to work for women that are young & hip that enjoy traveling & shopping small.

Describe your creative process from design to production.My design process is pretty simple... I think through what I’m inspired by currently, through Instagram, fashion & home. Then I turn that inspiration into pieces that will compliment any style.
