Blooming with the Dogwoods

Seasons change, we ebb and flow with those changes just the same. Our lives are constantly changing and growing. Whether we like the idea of change, it happens to all of us and if you haven't changed, what are you doing to live outside of your comfort zone? Sitting there waiting for life to happen TO you instead of making something happen.

Think about it. Every single chapter of our lives tell a different story than the last. If we're not growing, we aren't making ourselves better humans. I'm going to be honest, change is hard for me, I'm someone who makes lists and then I ponder on that list and second guess that list and then something in my life changes and then I sit on it for a bit before accepting it. PSA I'm an over thinker. I'm over thinking this blog as I write it. Wanna know my new goal(for the moment). STOP over thinking and let my little light shine for the good and for the happy moments and for the real moments. I write how I speak and if it's not 100% grammatically correct...what cha gonna do? Probably cringe. I'll later notice it and then change it. ha SO then it'll all be good, but that's how I adapt to change. I'm slow to accept it, but I do accept it. Just like the dogwoods. Slow to bloom, but once they do darling they are breath taking. They cover the streets and embrace the season they are in.

Literally within the last two years I have slowly began to embrace my weirdness and do you know how freeing that is? UUUGGHH...girl. It's unbelievable. I most definitely have my moments, it's not all peaches n cream over here, but it is a sweet feeling. Even if it's a small step each day. There's beauty in all of it and it makes you, you.

Change.

Embrace it.

It's coming.

There's nothing we can do about it.

So make the most of what we've got.

Whatever that something is.
